Abstract: The main lobe width of the spatial pulse-echo response for the transducer array is the standard to evaluate the lateral resolution of imaging system. The analysis of spatial pulse-echo response for the array plays an important role in optimizing the design parameters. This paper studies analysis method for ultrasonic echo response by spatial impulse response method for linear MEMS ultrasonic transducer array. Spatial impulse response and spatial pulse-echo response of the ultrasonic transducer array is obtained by simulation and calculation, also the received signal of each array element and array is obtained, and the simulation results are analyzed. These simulations and analyses provide important basis for evaluating imaging system, and have a great significance for further optimization of MEMS ultrasonic transducer design parameters.
