Abstract: The model of thermotransducer sensitive element operating in a hostile environment is proposed. The algorithm of diagnostics is developed and realized in the MATLAB-based program. The uniform and pitting corrosion types are modeled for different forms of sensitive elements cross-sections. The mechanical stress impact to the corrosion speed is taken into account.

Keywords: Thermotransducer, Sensitive element, Corrosion rate, Model-based diagnostic, Mechanical stress impact.
