Abstract: NiCr2O4ZnOMnO2 (NiCZM) composites with mole ratios 1:1:1, 2:1:1, 1:2:1, 1:1:2, 1:0:1, 0:1:1 and 1:1:0 were prepared and their humidity sensitivity measurements were studied. The composites were prepared, sintered at 950 0C for 6 h and were subjected to DC resistance measurements at RH 5-98% and temperature dependent studies. The undoped NiCr2O4ZnOMnO2 112 and 2 mol% Li+ doped NiCr2O4ZnOMnO2 112 composites showed humidity sensitivity factor of 2.1x103 and 2.0x104 respectively. X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy studies and nitrogen adsorption/desorption studies at 77 K were employed to study the structural phases, vibrational frequencies, surface morphology and BET surface area of the highest humidity sensing composites.
