Characteristic Features of RF MEMS Switches and its Various Applications

Abstract: The paper presents the RF MEMS Switches, their development technology & its applications. The characteristics of RF MEMS Switches are reviewed and salient features are illustrated. The development opportunity & application flexibility are clearly mentioned. Some expectations of the users & its limitations are discussed. The scope & need for future development are described. The industrial standards as well as the potential benefits are summarized.
