Abstract: The application specific paper describes a design approach for digital humidity sensors, data acquisition systems, data loggers and multisensors systems. Practical realizations are based on the Universal Frequency-to-Digital Converter (UFDC-1). Such design approach lets significantly simplify the design process, reduce time-to-market and production price and produce multisensors systems with high metrological performances. Practical examples of direct interfacing of frequency output humidity transducers and humidity-to-frequency converters to the UFDC-1 are given.
Keywords: humidity sensors, digital sensors, universal frequency-to-digital converter, frequency output, UFDC-1, data logger, multisensors systems
