Sensor Simulator

Depew, New York, USA – March 27, 2009 – PCB Piezotronics has introduced a new ICP® sensor simulator Model 401B04 ICP® sensor simulator installs in place of an ICP® sensor and accepts test signals from a voltage function generator. This product allows test engineers to make sure the entire measuring chain consisting of cable, ICP®  or IEPE signal conditioning, and data acquisition system is set up properly and ready to take measurements; which is especially important when the cost of running a test is very expensive.  The also unit serves to verify signal conditioning settings, cable integrity, and tune long lines for optimum system performance and is powered by any ICP® or IEPE sensor signal conditioner.

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is a global leader in the design and manufacture of force, torque, load, strain, pressure, acoustic and vibration sensors, as well as the pioneer of ICP® technology.  This instrumentation is used for test, measurement, monitoring, and feedback control requirements in automotive, aerospace, industrial, R&D, military, educational, commercial, and OEM applications. From ready-to-ship stock products, to custom-made specials, PCB® proudly stands behind all products with services customers value most, including 24-hour customer support, a strategic global distribution network, and a Total Customer Satisfaction guarantee.  For more information about PCB® visit www.pcb.com
