New 3049E Series of Robust, Miniature Accelerometers
Chatsworth, CA: Dytran Instruments today introduced the new 3049E series of robust, miniature accelerometers. The new accelerometers feature low mass, a top connector for a removable cable and electrical ground isolation. They are available in two mechanical configurations; an adhesive mount and a 10-32 stud mount version.
The 3049E series now features a low impedance voltage output (IEPE) that is compatible with most data acquisition and modal analysis equipment. These new accelerometers are available in ranges of 50 g and 500 g with sensitivities of 100mV/g and 10 mV/g respectively. Charge mode versions (3049D, 3049D1) are available in the same package configurations with a sensitivity of 5.8pC/g. Constructed of lightweight titanium, the sensors are hermetically sealed and feature welded construction.
The 3049E series is ideal for drop testing, modal and vibration testing on small structures. The hermetic seal makes these accelerometers suitable for use in environmental chambers.
