Rugged Stud Mounted High-g Accelerometer
The Model 3801A is a mV output MEMS accelerometer in a rugged hermetic package. The accelerometer incorporates mechanical stops for over-range protection up to 10,000 g.
The Model 3801A is offered in ranges from ± 2 to ± 2000 g and is gas damped to provide a wide frequency response to >5000 Hz, far beyond the typical range of comparable VC accelerometers. The accelerometer is temperature compensated to provide a stable output over the operating environment. The Model 3801A is designed for stud mounting and incorporates a detachable cable assembly.
