Abstract: This paper summarized the results of our previous work, outlining some important aspects of the data quality provisioning at the organizational level that are usually poorly understood or underestimated and therefore represent a significant setback in compiling a successful data improvement strategy. These aspects do not cover the specifics of the data quality issues in the field of sensor networks. In the current contribution, we examine the major challenges of providing high quality data collected by wireless sensor networks.
