Abstract: Undesired vibrations are serious problems that affect and deteriorate the quality of the product. This paper investigates dynamic and vibrational characteristics of a newly installed All Geared Lathe Machine with piezoelectric sensor. A comparison is drawn with the data measured and acceptable data as per ISO 10816 and thus concluded that the machine is in working condition.
