Miniature Low Noise Teardrop Accelerometer

April 18, 2012 – Chatsworth, California, USA – Dytran Instruments, Inc. a leading manufacturer of piezoelectric and DC MEMS accelerometers, force and pressure transducers and associated electronics, has introduced the model 3225M39, an ultra miniature teardrop IEPE accelerometer with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g, designed to adhesively mount in spaces typically inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor has an overall height of 0.23 inches (5.8 millimeters) and weighs just 0.95 grams.

Featuring a quartz shear sensing element in a lightweight titanium housing, the model 3225M39 utilizes an integral three-foot coaxial cable assembly terminating to a 10-32 jack. The Dytran model 3225M39 incorporates low noise electronics, and has a broad frequency response of 1.2 to 10,000 Hz, making it ideal for modal analysis and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) applications. For more information about the model 3225M39 or other products available from Dytran, or to order online, visit http://www.dytran.com Priced at $ 482.
