Digital Sensor System Interface to ME'scope
February 1, 2005, Provo, UT, USA - Larson Davis announces that Vibrant Technology Inc. now offers an acquisition window connecting the Larson Davis Digital Sensor System (DSS) directly to their popular ME'scopeVESTM software for modal analysis and operating deflection shape animation. This window provides a seamless integration between software and hardware, putting the DSS completely under control of the software.
With this development, ME'scope users can now benefit from the revolutionary Digital Sensor Interface Transmitter (DSIT) technology utilized by DSS to reduce the cost and complexity of cabling associated with high channel count modal test systems. Connect up to sixteen transducer channels to each low cost ribbon cable.
DSS works with both uniaxial and triaxial accelerometers, providing ICPВ® current and supporting Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS) equipped transducers. A single DSS chassis can be configured to support as many as 64 channels in a small, lightweight package at a surprisingly low cost.
