New DC Voltage Transducers for Process Control and Utility Solar Applications

Magnelab announces the first DC Voltage Sensor that is rated for use to 1000 V. The DVT1000 fits a growing need for isolated high voltage DC monitoring in process control and alternative energy such as solar.

The DVT1000 Voltage Transducer combines high accuracy and rugged environmental specs in a small DIN package for ease of installation. With a range of up to 1000 VDC input and low current requirements, the DVT1000 can be used in solar combiner boxes as well as SCR DC motor applications.

The DVT1000 DC Voltage Transducer is designed to convert a DC Voltage input to either a 4-20 mA or a 0-5 VDC output that is proportional to the input.  The transducer provides effective isolation to 4.5 kV and includes safety ratings for both UL and CSA.  Rugged environmental specs from -30 C to +70 C meet remote installation requirements. DIN configuration and standard 24 VDC power allow quick and easy installation.

About Magnelab:

Magnelab is a world leader in the design and manufacture of  high quality custom magnetics components in a fully equipped state-of-the-art manufacturing facility We serve many industries such as medical, computer, aerospace, energy monitoring, and fulfill orders from a handful of custom parts, to large orders with many thousands.

Magnelab manufactures current sensors, current transformers, and current transducers. Our high precision Split-Core current transducers measure AC current from one to 5,000 Amps. The Magnelab flexible-core RopeCT (Rogowski coil) is available from 12 inches to 48 inches at various amperage ratings.
