Call for Special Issue of Sensors & Transducers journal
The purpose of this special issue is to present original articles and review papers that give an overview of current progress of research, development, improvement and applications of sensors and measurement procedures in the protection of critical infrastructures. Original research and review papers as well as technical –application papers are most welcome to this issue, focusing on the role of sensors and measuring techniques in the protection of critical infrastructures for preventing and acting against any threat and in the support of emergency response.
The topics covered in this issue and are related to critical infrastructure protection, but not limited to, include:

Call for Special Issue of Sensors & Transducers journal
The purpose of this special issue is to present original articles and review papers that give an overview of current progress of research, development, improvement and applications of sensors and measurement procedures in the industrial processes were the measurements and consequently sensors are critical for increase the quality of the industrial processes and reduce the impact to humans and environment. Original research and review papers as well as technical–application papers are most welcome to this issue, focusing on the applications of sensors and measuring techniques in industrial processes.
The topics covered in this issue and are related to industrial processes to measure heat/temperature, displacement, energy, environmental indicators, pressure, position, velocity, dimensions, etc in industrial processes, but not limited to, include:
