Part 12. IEEE 1451 Standard and Frequency Sensors

Abstract. After a brief introduction to IEEE 1451 standard family members it is shown that the standard can be simply extended for any sensors and transducers from frequency-time signal domain. First of all it means IEEE 1451.2 and IEEE 1451.4 standards. An example of possible Transducer Electronic Data  Sheet (TEDS) structure for pressure frequency output sensors is given.
