Part 13. Direct Sensor-to-Microcontroller Interface

Abstract. Direct sensor-to-microcontroller interface is possible for resistive, capacitance, inductance, resistive bridges sensing elements. It lets produce low cost digital sensors and sensor systems. However, additional components of error due to software related quantization effects and power supply interference effects should be take into account. This part describe in brief a possible measures to reduce these additional errors. There is a list of additional recommended references concerning this topic.
