Part 14. Future Trends

Abstract. The final part of online course discussed some future trends in smart sensors systems design. It is concerning the future development of main systems' components as the Universal Frequency-to-Digital Converter (UFDC-2) and Universal Sensors and Transducers Interface (USTI). It is highlighted that the integrating all components of sensor system into a single system-on-chip (SoC) with advanced processing and conversion methods allows to achieve magnificent technical and metrological performances.
