Aleshechkin A.M. Increasing the reliability of radio navigation parameter estimates in the radio navigation systems with phase sensors

 

The article examines ambiguity resolution algorithms for phase shift measurements with reference to Krabik radio navigation system equipped with a signal phase shift sensor. The probability of the phase ambiguity resolution is calculated for various metric frequencies. The recommendations on frequency plan correction are made which ensure higher reliability of radio navigation parameter estimates.

A new metrological approach to the analysis of modeling accuracy concepts is offered. Its idea is the propagation of maximum possible experience accumulated in metrology over modeling. The paper discusses the concepts of modeling adequacy, accuracy, and error and offers the classifications of modeling types and errors. With case studies of voltage-reference diodes and delta-sigma modulator modeling, it shows how the concepts introduced contribute to modeling adequacy improvement.
