Aleshechkin A. M. Remote measurement of position data per marine radionavigation system signals

 

This paper examines remote position determination algorithms per the signals from Krabik-BM phase radionavigation system. Accuracy improvement methods based on using the measurements results obtained from system’s additional reference stations are proposed. Experimental results are included.

Kudinov D. S., Shaydurov G. Y. The problems of nondestructive inspection at rail transport

 

Nondestructive inspection methods for rails are discussed. The problems related with the operation of ultrasonic flaw detector on the basis of piezoelectric sensors are formulated. The variants of nondestructive inspection system development by applying electromagnetic-acoustic and laser sensors are considered. The paper proposes to apply a radar sensor for detecting acoustic vibrations which arise in the rail during the motion.

Methods of accelerated time- and phase-locked-loop frequency control for digital spread-spectrum signal receiver are offered. They are based on using a priori data from a stand-alone speed sensor. This may result in correlation receiver phase lock increase by more than 4 times.

Anashin V. S. The tools for monitoring ionizing space radiation effect on the spaceship electronics in the field of single effects

 

General design concepts of a system intended for monitoring the effect of natural ionizing space radiation on spaceship electronics are considered, in particular, the design of its key element: a heavy charged particles sensor. The sensor structure including a sensing element based on bistable solid-state components, a processing module, and an interface unit is offered.

Barbashov V. M. Quality assessment of specialized electronic systems operation

 

Quality assessment methodology for LSI electronic circuits operating in harsh environments is offered. Criterion membership function based on the fuzzy digital Browther automaton model is used for functional and logical  modeling of system operation. Algorithms are developed and recommendations made on the prediction of occurring transient and residual radiation effects in LSI systems

The paper presents physical background of deep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS) method and discusses its application to the investigation of semiconductor quantum dimensional QW and QD heterostructures. An equation for charge carriers capture cross section in the QW, QD is derived and analyzed.
